Revealed: The top global performers in the E2E International 100

Designed to showcase the high performing UK companies that are excelling, experiencing consistent growth and actively using disruptive business strategies, the initiative is showcase companies that are making a significant impact, not just in their own sector, but, in the case of the E2E International 100, also on a global scale. The track highlights the fastest-growing, privately owned, UK-owned and based companies – with export sales growth over the last two years determining rank. Their position is based solely on the independent research, not on nomination.

First on the list is the Prax Group, dealing in crude oil, petroleum product and biofuels with a focus on innovation, responsible business and a philanthropic approach – all of which have made a resounding impact to its business growth. Argent Energy, meanwhile, is a waste-based biodiesel producer, dedicated to decarbonising transport worldwide. They’re on a mission to discover ways to convert waste into high value products. Third on the track, OS Phoenix Holdco, trading as Reconomy, is also a waste and resource management company helping businesses worldwide with adopting a circular economy approach to improve their ESG outcomes.

The E2E International 100 is the third in a series of six E2E 100 tracks to launch this year. With data drawn from independent research carried out by Go Live Data and Experian, the international marketplace ranking is based on the company’s overall revenue over the past two years, along with their export sales figures.

Innovators and changemakers across the UK feature, highlighting their ideas and their drive for positive change. The initiative also provides an opportunity to get under the skin of today’s business challenges. E2E members can access vital help, such as finding investors to fund their growth and being matched with mentors and non-executive directors to help their start-ups and scale-ups to grow.

Of course, the more UK-based businesses that achieve international success, the more attractive the UK becomes in the global marketplace. In fact, the challenges of the past few years have generated start-ups at record levels. With the government keen to position the UK as a thriving business economy in order to attract new business from overseas, organisations like E2E are playing a vital role in supporting the business community.

However, the UK’s world ranking for scale-up entrepreneurship has dropped to 25th. The E2E 100 is designed to correct that imbalance, and provide recognition and a platform where the UK’s innovators and business generators will flourish.

According to Chief Executive of E2E, Shalini Khemka CBE, “By helping scale-ups in the UK to get the support they need, we can increase the speed at which they can hire new talent and achieve their goals as well as supporting the Government’s vision.”

Launching in March, the first E2E 100 track to be published was the E2E Female 100, followed by the E2E Tech 100 in April. The remaining three tracks due to launch are E2E Job Creation 100 (July), E2E Dynamic 100 (September)and E2E Profit 100 (October). Each track will be celebrated at The Houses of Parliament, to champion the best of UK business and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders, to give the UK economy a serious boost.
