Andhra Pradesh SSC: The fees will have to be paid only through the official website bse.ap.gov.in by entering the school login user ID and password
The Andhra Pradesh Directorate of Government Examinations has revised the deadline for SSC or AP Board Class 10 exam fee payment. As per the revised notification, regular and once-failed AP Class 10 students taking the March-April board exam in 2024 must pay their exam fees by November 20. Initially, the last date to pay the fees was November 10. The fees will have to be paid only through the school login using the user ID and password at bse.ap.gov.in.
The official notice reads, “Apart from examination fee, fee for vocational candidates and for migration certificates shall be remitted online along with NR submission in the website www.bse.ap.gov.in as per the schedule. Fees for underage candidates shall be remitted through CFMS Challan only.”
However, once the deadline lapses, students have until November 25 to complete the payment but in this case, a late fee of Rs 50 will be levied. Further, they can remit the exam fees by November 30 but an Rs 200 late fee will be applicable. They can also pay fees until December 5, 2023, with an Rs 500 late charge. Moreover, SC, ST, and OBC students taking the AP Class 10 board exam for the first time in 2024 and whose family income is less than Rs 24,000 per annum in urban areas and Rs 20,000 in rural areas are excused from paying the examination fee.
The registration process for the Andhra Pradesh SSC examination for regular students started on October 28. Those students are considered under the regular category who are currently enrolled in Class 10 in government, zilla parishad, municipal, AP residential, APBCW residential, APSW residential, APTW residential schools, KGBV high schools, AP model schools, Government Tribal Welfare ASHRAM Schools (GTWAHS), recognised private aided, and recognised private unaided schools.
Meanwhile, this year, internal marks will not be considered in the grading process for the class 10 SSC board examinations. These exams will be given for a total of 100 points and will follow a 6-paper format. Each topic, which includes first language, second language, third language, mathematics, general science, and social studies, will have a single paper with a maximum of 100 marks. Furthermore, for the General Science subject, Physical Science and Biological Science Examinations will be given on separate days, with each test lasting 2 hours. Two papers will be administered in the case of the first language, composite paper 1 for 70 points, and paper 2, for 30 points.
