DU SOL Recruitment 2023: The deadline for application submissions has been extended until November 15 at 5:30 pm on the official website at sol.du.ac.in

Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) has extended the registration deadline for non-teaching positions. According to the official statement, the deadline for application submissions has been extended until November 15 at 5:30 pm. Candidates may apply on the official website at sol.du.ac.in.

Initially, the deadline to apply for the position was November 4. The application process started on October 11 and this recruitment drive undertaken by the university is being conducted to fill up a total of 77 posts. DU SOL non-teaching recruitment drive is looking to fill the following positions:

Junior Assistant: 37 posts,

Assistant: 14 posts,

Senior Assistant: 8 posts,

Technical Assistant: 5 posts,

Assistant Registrar: 3 posts,

Stenographer: 3 posts,

Junior Programmer: 2 posts,

Deputy Registrar: 1 post,

Academic Coordinator: 1 post,

Junior Engineer: 1 post,

Driver: 1 post,

Lab Attendant: 1 post.

DU SOL Recruitment 2023: How to Apply

Step 1 – Log on to the official website sol.du.ac.in.

Step 2 – On the home page, click on the recruitment link.

Step 3 – A new page will open, with links to SOL DU non-teaching positions.

Step 4 – Register and log in to your account.

Step 5 – Fill out the application form and pay the application fees.

Step 6 – Submit the application and make a hard copy for future reference.

DU SOL Recruitment 2023: Application fee

Candidates from the General/Unreserved Category must pay an application fee of Rs 1000 at the time of registration. The application cost is Rs 800 for other backward class (NCL), economically weaker section (EWS), and women category candidates, and Rs 600 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates.

Meanwhile, in September, the School of Open Learning at the University of Delhi invited applications for admission to the UG and PG courses offered. Students could register and apply for undergraduate courses until September 30, and postgraduate courses until September 11. The selection procedure will be based on two unique lists prepared on a merit basis. When applying for admission after the merit list is released, candidates must show their class 10th and 12th certificates, a photo, and scans of their other required documents.

In 2022, the University of Delhi created the Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), Faculty of Open Learning, and Open Learning Development Centre (OLDC) under the auspices of the Campus of Open Learning/School of Open Learning.
