Among the 30 shares of the Sensex, 28 companies were trading in the green in the opening trade
A day after the Union Interim Budget 2024-25, the domestic equity market started the day on a high note. The BSE Sensex on Friday, February 2, opened 332.26 points or 0.46 per cent higher at 71,977.56, while the NSE Nifty rose 200 points or 0.92 per cent to 21,897.80.
Among the 30 shares of the Sensex, 28 companies were trading in the green in the opening trade. ICICI Bank, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries, and Power Grid were the top gainers rising up to 2.15 per cent. On the other hand, Larsen & Toubro and Maruti were the losers falling up to 0.42 per cent.
