There is no conclusive answer, however recent study raises the possibility that the COVID virus can persist on specific meals for up to a week. The length of time the COVID-19 virus may survive on foods was revealed by a study that the Food Standards Agency (FSA) published.
The study, which was carried out in collaboration with The University of Southampton, titled “Survival of SARS-CoV-2 on the Surfaces of Food and Food Packaging Materials.” The pace at which the virus stays on the surface of various food varieties and food packaging was measured by the researchers.
