Perth Stadium has designated 2 zones surrounding Pakistan dressing room exclusively as Pakistan Bay
In a dedicated effort to enhance the fan experience during the Australia and Pakistan Test series, Cricket Australia has gone the extra mile to create a distinctive and inclusive atmosphere for the upcoming NRMA Insurance West Test of the Benaud Qadir Trophy, set to take place at the Perth Stadium from December 14.
Since the arrival of the Pakistan cricket team in Australia, there has been a surge in the sale of the NRMA insurance The West Test tickets, with over 18,000 tickets already sold for the much-anticipated clash.
Perth Stadium has designated two zones surrounding the Pakistan dressing room exclusively as the “Pakistan Bay,” providing a focal point for Pakistan fans to unite and fervently support their team.
In a commendable move towards inclusivity, the Pakistan Bay has been declared an alcohol-free zone, fostering a family-friendly environment. Tea, halal and desi food options will be available, further enriching the communal spirit within the Pakistan Bay.
Pakistani cricket star Hasan Ali and emerging talent Saim Ayub, warmly invited fans to participate in a walk organised by Cricket Australia on the first day of the match. The walk will kick off from the renowned Sailani Avenue, guiding participants to the Perth Stadium.
For those seeking tickets to the Pakistan Bay, a unique opportunity awaits with specially priced tickets lower than the standard AUD 30 West Test ticket. Additionally, children under the age of four can enter the stadium for free, while tickets for children aged four to fifteen start at AUD 10.
Cricket Australia, in November, announced to name the Perth Test between Pakistan and Australia as “The West Test”, offering fans and spectators a new in-stadium experience inspired by the Western Australian Cricket Association’s (WACA) “The West Test Hill”.
The Hill will boast at least three tiers and can accommodate around 500 spectators. It will also include a family area, offering games for children and shade above seating spaces for relaxing and enjoying the game during the summer season.
Cricket Australia General Manager, Events and Operations Joel Morrison said: “International cricket in Perth has always been one of the great events of the Australian summer. The ‘West Test’ will take this to another level combining world-class action on the field with brilliant experiences for fans within the stadium, including on ‘The Hill’.
