According to nutritionist Lovneet Batra, you can opt for some drinks and follow some handy tips to tackle excessive sweat that makes the summer season annoying for us.

Here’re 5 Tips To Prevent Excess Sweat:

Drink more fluid:

It is always advised to consume more fluids during summer to make up for the water your body loses through sweat. You don’t have to necessarily drink just water and can also gulp down summer desi summer coolers like sattu, buttermilk, jaljeera, and phalsa juice. The nutritionist says that this will prevent dehydration and keep the body cool.

Go easy on the espresso:

We know a cup of coffee is sometimes essential to wake up. But it is important to consume it in moderation. The nutritionist insists that caffeine in the coffee stimulates the adrenal glands and causes our palms, feet, and underarms to sweat up.

Ditch spicy food:

You can also try lowering the spiciness in your curries and avoid adding extra green chillies. Eating spicy food causes you to sweat as the body reacts to it the same way it responds to any other form of heat.

Use an antiperspirant:

 Antiperspirants are specifically made to reduce sweat and hence they can be a good option to avoid embarrassment due to smelly sweat patches.

Don’t take stress:

Getting anxious or stressed out can also make your body sweat more by triggering the sweat glands. It is advised to keep your mind cool to prevent excessive sweating.
