Step-By-Step Chocolate Cake Recipe | How To Make Vikas Khanna-Style Chocolate Cake At Home:
“I swear, this is going to be your next favourite chocolate cake,” states Chef Vikas.
Step 1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Step 2. Grease a cake pan, line it with parchment paper and keep it ready.
Step 3. Melt butter and add it to a bowl of sugar. Add chocolate and mix well.
Step 4. Add vanilla extract, and eggs and whisk until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
Step 5. Sift in the flour and add a pinch of salt, then fold until everything gets combined well. Do not overmix!
Step 6. Pour the batter into the cake pan and tap on the counter for a smooth top.
Step 7. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes.
Step 8. Do a toothpick test. Insert it at the centre of the cake, and if it comes out with moist crumbs, your cake is good to go.
