The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to commence the registration process for JEE Main 2024 online. The expected start date for registration is December 2023, but the specific date for opening the JEE Main 2024 application form is yet to be announced. Candidates can find the registration link on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Those candidates who have successfully completed their class 12 or an equivalent examination, will be eligible to fill out the JEE Main 2024 application form. This process involves registering, uploading the necessary documents, and making the required payment for the NTA JEE Main registration fee.
The first session of the exam is planned for January 24 to February 1, 2024, and the second session is set between April 1 and 15, 2024. Both sessions will be conducted in a computer-based format.
JEE Main 2024: Documents Required While Applying
Here, students can find a list of the documents needed to complete the JEE Main 2024 application.
— Scanned images of photograph and signature.
— Category certificates (If belonging to reserved category).
— Debit card/Internet banking details for payment of JEE Main registration fee 2024.
— Photo Identity proof such as Aadhaar, Bank passbook, Ration card copy, etc.
While uploading passport-size photos, ears and 80 per cent of the face (without a mask) must be visible in the passport-size photograph, which can be either coloured or black and white. White should be the background of the photo. The scanned image and signature must be in JPG or JPEG format and be legible. It must be between 10 kb and 200 kb in size.
The scanned copy of the signature of the student must be between 4 and 30 kb in size and be easily readable. The size of the scanned copy of the category and/or PwD certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc) should be in pdf between 50kb to 300kb and clearly visible.
Once students have successfully submitted their JEE Main 2024 application forms, they will receive notifications through their registered email address and mobile number. However, if students wish to verify the status of their application, they can do so by logging in using their application number and password. By checking the status, students can confirm that their application has been submitted correctly. When they log in, candidates will see the status of their registration, including details about the application fee payment, all displayed on the screen for their convenience.
