The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued an official notification regarding the revision of the ongoing BPSC Phase 2 Teacher Recruitment Examination. As per the notification, the commission has added 1,401 job openings for the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) welfare departments. The number of vacant posts in the second phase of teacher appointment has been increased to 1,22,286.
The commission said that out of the total 69,706 posts of school teachers under the Education Department, a total of 50,263 vacant posts that remained vacant in the first phase of teacher reinstatement are included. A total of 916 vacancies have been notified in the Backward Classes (BC) and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) welfare departments.
Among the 50,263 posts that have been included in the second phase of teacher recruitment, 9431 are primary school teacher posts, 6682 posts at secondary school, and 34,150 posts at higher secondary school.
Eligible candidates interested in applying can register for the BPSC TRE 2023 phase 2 on the official website of the BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in. The online application process for the BPSC Phase 2 Teacher Recruitment Examination will remain open till November 14 without payment of late fees. However, if a person fails to apply before the deadline, they can register for the recruitment process with a late fee of Rs 200 from November 14 to November 17.
BPSC TRE Phase 2 Recruitment: Eligibility criteria
— Candidates must possess a BA or BSc and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or BA, or
— BSc with at least 50 per cent marks and Bachelor in Education, or
— Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and Bachelor in Education (BEd)
Higher secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 percent marks and a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education, or
— Higher secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50 per cent marks and 4-year BA/BSc-Ed or BAEd/BScEd, or
— Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and BEd (Special Education)
— Must have secured a degree or its equivalent with the languages or subjects in which they are applying.
BPSC TRE 2023: How to apply
Step 1: Candidates have to go to the official portal of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
Step 2: Locate the BPSC TRE Phase 2 registration link on the homepage.
Step 3: After clicking, proceed with the application form with all the necessary details.
Step 4: Upload the required documents in the asked size and format
Step 5: Process the payment of the prescribed application fee and submit
Step 6: Now, download the submitted application form
Step 7: Keep a printout of the BPSC TRE registration form for future reference.
BPSC TRE Phase 2 Recruitment: Application Fees
Candidates applying for the post will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 750, however, female candidates and applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disability (PwD) categories will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 200.
BPSC TRE Phase 2 Recruitment: Salary Details
Secondary School Teachers (Class 6 to 8) can expect a salary of Rs 28,000 per month, whereas Secondary School TGT Teachers (Class 9 to 10) are expected to get Rs 31,000 and Higher Secondary School PGT Teachers (Class 11 to 12) can get Rs 32,000.
