World Health Organization director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that Gaza’s health system is near collapse, saying a cease-fire is “the only way to truly protect and promote the health of the people of Gaza.” The Israel Defense Forces said it is “fighting fiercely” in Gaza and claimed to have struck at least 250 targets over the weekend, including underground tunnels in Khan Younis, the largest city in the southern Gaza Strip.
