Kiara Advani’s upcoming film, Game Changer with Ram Charan, has created a lot of buzz, and the team released the teaser in a special event held in Lucknow recently. While the teaser has intrigued fans, Kiara’s choice of outfit for the event is facing criticism. For the event, Kiara wore a stunning dress from late designer Rohit Bal’s collection. While the original outfit was layered with a matching jacket, Kiara styled the dress without it. Diet Sabya, a well-known fashion influencer, criticised her for the same.
The Rohit Bal dress worn by Kiara Advani has a lacy sweetheart neckline and lacy, white embellishments at the bust. The length featured exquisite rose-and-leaf motifs that evoked an elegant and sophisticated image. The original combination by the designer also featured a detailed and intricate jacket draped over the strappy dress, with embroidered flower and animal designs that perfectly matched it. This jacket embodied a strong historic spirit while representing the designer’s perspective. However, the actress decided not to wear that. This move was met with criticism from fashion influencer Diet Sabya, who mentioned that Kiara’s decision to skip the jacket from the initial ensemble left the appearance incomplete.
Diet Sabya posted a picture of Kiara alongside the original ensemble on Instagram stories and wrote, “If you are going to wear a Rohit Bal, why would you not wear the entire look? Especially when it’s from his last show??? Especially when the look is incomplete without the jacket. Whoever is loaning out these Bal pieces – would like to have a chat. Would also like to have a chat with Kiara’s stylist on some fashion etiquette and unspoken rules that we simply DO NOT CROSS.”
Meanwhile, Kiara accessorised the outfit in a unique way. She wore a green kundan choker, silver and golden bracelets and bangles. She styled her hair in defining curls, with dark kohl on her eyes and warm makeup to brighten her look.
Game Changer, written and directed by Shankar, stars SJ Suryah, Anjali, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, and Nassar. Dil Raju and Sirish produced the film. The film promises great action and drama as it follows an IAS officer’s battle against a corrupt political system.
