The CFA Institute has released the results for the August 2023 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 2 examination. Aspiring candidates can access their Level 2 results through the CFA Institute’s official website at cfainstitute.org. To gain access to their individual results, candidates are required to provide their login credentials, including their registration number and date of birth.
The Level 2 results for this year also come with the disclosure of pass percentage figures for the CFA examinations. This cycle saw a 44 per cent success rate among candidates who cleared the examination. However, it’s worth noting that the previous administration had a marginally higher pass rate, with 52 per cent of candidates successfully passing the CFA Level 2 exam.
CFA Level 2 Results 2023: How to Check
Step 1: Visit the official CFA Institute website by navigating to cfainstitute.org.
Step 2: Select the CFA Level 2 course option, which will direct you to the relevant page.
Step 3: Enter your verified credentials, including your registered email address and password, to log in.
Step 4: Once logged in, select the “Results” option to access your Level 2 results.
Step 5: The detailed CFA Level 2 result will be displayed on your screen for your review.
Step 6: You can download your CFA Level 2 result and take a printout for future reference.
The institute has already published the results for the CFA Level 1 examination. There has been a decrease in the pass rate this year when compared to both the previous examination and the 10-year historical average. In particular, for the CFA August Level 1 exam in 2023, the pass rate has declined by 2 percentage points, reaching 37 per cent . This stands in contrast to the 10-year average pass rate, which has consistently remained at 41 per cent .
