The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) declared the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 result on Sunday, December 10 on the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The exam was conducted on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 139 test centres in 25 states and UTs. This year, Jai Bohara stood first with 108 marks, followed by Pradyot Shah with 99.99 marks.

Pawan Kumar Pandey, who achieved All India Rank (AIR) 11 in the CLAT 2024, provides coaching for civil services and law exams. Pandey is a Dehradun-based teacher who runs the Oracle IAS coaching classes for civil services and law entrance exams, reported Careers360.

Pandey had predicted a two-digit rank and had posted about it on social media even before the exam. However, seeing the scorecard provided a sense of fulfillment and validation. The change in the CLAT 2024 exam pattern encouraged the teacher to take the exam.

“As a teacher, I have to be in touch with such changes so that I can guide my students better. Therefore, I decided to sit for the exam in November 2023,” he said as quoted by Careers360. “Additionally, the CLAT exam is based largely on your English reading comprehension. As a voracious reader, I did not have to work hard for that,” Pandey added.

Speaking about his CLAT 2024 preparation, Pandey stated that he spent a month studying for the law exam for two to three hours every day. He states that a student needs to perform well in every section in order to receive good grades and that every section is significant for a good score. He concentrated on general knowledge while remaining flexible in his exam strategy.

Pandey concentrated on general knowledge because that section is unpredictable, reports add. He went through sample papers provided by the consortium to get a general idea of the paper and then solved a few mock papers created by his team. There were no specific books used in the preparation.

The CLAT mock tests, according to Pandey, are important for developing an effective strategy and managing time. The tests will expose students to a wide range of questions and facts.

The CLAT entrance exam was held for students seeking admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses across the country. Those who clear the CLAT 2024 exam will be called for the counselling process.
