The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), a part of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has issued a job announcement seeking applications for the positions of Light Vehicle Driver-A and Heavy Vehicle Driver-A vacancies. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can visit the official website of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre at vssc.gov.in and submit their applications. The application process will start tomorrow, November 13 and the last date for submission of the application form is November 27.
The ISRO VSSC recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 18 vacancies in the organisation. Among the offered posts, 9 vacancies each are for the post of Light Vehicle Driver -A and Heavy Vehicle Driver- B.
ISRO VSSC Recruitment 2023: Educational Qualification
Light Vehicle Driver- A: For the post of Light Vehicle Driver, candidates should have qualified SSC, SSLC, Matric, or 10th standard. In addition to that, candidates should possess a valid Light Vehicle Driver licence and three years of experience as a Light Vehicle Driver.
Heavy Vehicle Driver- A: Candidates should have passed matric, SSC, SSLC, and 10th standard, and they must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driver licence to be eligible for the Heavy Vehicle Driver vacancy. Moreover, candidates must have a valid public service badge to apply for the post.

Candidates applying for ISRO Driver Recruitment can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply online:
Step 1: Candidates are required to log in to the official website of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre at vssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for the career page on the website and click on the concerned ISRO centre tab
Step 3: Now, click on the ‘Apply’ link available for ISRO Driver Post.
Step 4: If you a new user, click on New Registration and register yourself.
Step 5: Once done, log in using your credentials and fill the ISRO Driver Application Form as directed.
Step 6: Upload the essential documents in the prescribed size and format
Step 7: Hit submit and download the submitted application form for future reference.
ISRO VSSC Recruitment 2023: Salary
Those selected for the positions of Light Vehicle Driver and Heavy Vehicle Driver will get a salary between the range of Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200.
