The JEE Main 2024 correction window will be open from December 6 to December 8, NTA has informed. The agency has released FAQs related to the engineering entrance exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has answered 10 common questions about JEE Main 2024 on their official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, covering topics like registration, application forms, exam sessions, papers, and the correction window for students who have applied for the engineering entrance exam. Here are some key questions addressed by the NTA:
1. Can I make corrections to my online application form for JEE Main 2024?
Answer: Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to the JEE Main 2024 application form on the official website after the conclusion of the registration process.
2. Can I add more sessions (session 1 or session 2) during the application correction?
Answer: Yes, candidates can add Session 2 along with the first session during the application correction window, subject to the payment of the required fee.
3. Can I remove any selected session during the correction window period?
Answer: Candidates can remove Session 2 during the correction window period, but the fee for the removed session will not be refunded.
4. Can I interchange sessions (from session 1 to session 2 or vice versa) during the correction window period?
Answer: No, candidates cannot interchange sessions.
5. Can I add more papers during the correction window period?
Answer: Yes, candidates can add more papers during the correction window period, but they need to pay the applicable fee for added paper.
6. Can I remove any selected paper during the correction window period?

7. I have paid the fee more than once but my confirmation page is not downloaded. What to do in this case?

After the JEE Main 2024 results are declared, any extra payments will be refunded by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
8. Contact details of ICICI Bank given on page 58 of the information bulletin of JEE Main 2024 have been updated.
Answer: For candidates paying through ICICI Bank, the helpline number is 1800-22-2884. It is available Monday to Friday from 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM.
