Capitalising on this enthusiasm, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (formerly Kanpur University) has introduced a new and valuable course centred around rocket engineering.

Dr. Anju Dixit, a professor at the School of Basic Science, Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, mentioned that the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission has prompted the university to introduce a new valuable course in the upcoming semester.

Dr. Dixit said that the course will have a strong emphasis on skill development and advanced technology. Notably, experts from IIT Kanpur will also play an important role in educating students about rocket engineering, and sharing their knowledge and insights in this field. Students can expect to receive in-depth guidance on the subject from these experts, enhancing their understanding of rocket engineering concepts.
Regarding eligibility for the course, students who have completed their B.Tech from any branch are eligible to apply. Additionally, those who have completed a B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any branch can also apply for this course.
Following the news of the success of Chandrayaan-3, the entire nation celebrated the achievement of Indian scientists and social media was inundated with posts expressing appreciation for ISRO. In a heartwarming gesture, two couples in the Yadgir district of Karnataka chose to name their newborns after the Pragyan Rover and Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan -3, as a way to honour and commemorate this historic achievement.
