The LBS Centre for Science and Technology has extended the deadline for registration for the Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) in January 2024. Interested candidates now have until November 5 to register themselves at the official website at lbsedp.lbscentre.in. The final date to submit the registration fee for Kerala SET 2024 is November 11 and the window for editing applications will be available from November 8 to November 10.
Those who have a master’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks and a B.Ed degree from a recognized university in Kerala are considered eligible for the examination. However, first-year PG/BEd students are not allowed to apply for the Kerala SET, as stated on the official website. It’s important to note that the previous registration deadline for Kerala SET 2024 was October 25.
Kerala SET January 2024: How to Apply
Interested candidates can follow the below-mentioned step-by-step process given below to fill out the Kerala SET 2024 application form.
Step 1: Navigate to the official website of LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Kerala- lbsedp.lbscentre.in
Step 2: Tap on the ‘Online Registration’ tab available on the homepage.
Step 3: Now, tap on the ‘New Registration’ tab.
Step 4: Key in your mobile number and tap on ‘Submit’.
Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents and then pay the Kerala SET January Registration 2024 fee.
Step 6: Verify all the information, then select “Submit.”
Step 7: Lastly, download and save the application form.
The authorities conducting the exam will announce the exam date and hall tickets at a later time. Please remember that those who are in the first year of the PG/BEd program can’t apply for Kerala SET 2024. As for the application fees, candidates from the General and OBC categories need to pay Rs 1000, while candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories have a reduced application fee of Rs 500.
The Kerala SET January 2024 will have two papers. Paper 1 is divided into two parts, with Part A covering General Knowledge questions and Part B focusing on Aptitude in Teaching. The second paper, Paper 2, will evaluate your expertise in your chosen subject at the Post-Graduate (PG) level.
