NEET SS 2023: Those who make it to the list will have to report to the designated institutions for admission and reservation of seats between December 14 and 20

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality, NEET SS 2023 round 2 seat allotment result today, December 13. Once released, the results will be available on the official website at mcc.nic.in. The NBEMS has lowered the cut off from 50 to 20 percentile for this round.

Students will be assigned seats based on their preferences. Those who make it to the list will have to report to the designated institutions for admission and reservation of seats between December 14 and 20. Students must pay an application cost of Rs 5,000, which is non-refundable, and a refundable security deposit fee of Rs 2 lakh to secure seats.

NEET SS 2023 Round 2 seat allotment result: How to check

Step 1: Go to MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: Select the NEET SS section on the website and then click on the seat allotment result link.

Step 3: Enter log in details.

Step 4: The result will appear on the screen. Save and download the page for further use.

The NEET SS 2023 was held on Sept 29 and 30 and the result was released on October 15. Medical, radiodiagnosis, microbiology, pathology, psychiatry, surgery, paediatrics, anaesthesiology, pharmacology, ENT, respiratory medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, and orthopaedics were among the 13 specialties tested. The exam included 150 total questions, each worth four marks under the scoring scheme. No marks is given for questions that are not attempted, and one mark is deducted from each incorrect response in order to arrive at the final score.

Admissions to 2,447 seats in Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Surgery (MCh) courses at 156 public and private medical schools, as well as Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) institutions, take place via the NEET SS. The MCC would conduct two rounds of NEET SS 2023 counselling to facilitate admissions to 100 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) Super Specialty DM, MCh seats in federal, state, and deemed institutions.
