Petrol, and Diesel Prices on January 12: Crude oil prices are rising in the international market. At around 6 am on Friday morning, WTI crude is falling and is being sold at $ 73.37 per barrel. At the same time, Brent crude is trading at 77.41 per barrel. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am. Before June 2017, price revision was done every 15 days.
In Maharashtra, petrol has become cheaper by 56 paise and diesel by 53 paise. In Himachal Pradesh, petrol has become cheaper by 49 paise and diesel by 43 paise. Petrol has become cheaper by 33 paise and diesel by 31 paise in Bihar. Apart from this, petrol has also become cheaper in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Goa. On the other hand, petrol and diesel have become costlier by 31 paise in Haryana. Petrol has become costlier by 19 paise and diesel by 16 paise in Madhya Pradesh. The prices of petrol and diesel have also increased in West Bengal.
At present, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 96.72 a litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.62 a litre. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is available at Rs 106.31 and diesel at Rs 94.27 per litre. While petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. On the other hand, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per litre in Chennai.
