“Super Saturday” brings out droves of Christmas shoppers

Shoppers were expected to turn out in huge numbers for the last Saturday before Christmas, known to retailers as “Super Saturday.” The National Retail Federation predicts 16 million more people will shop today than on the same day in 2017, the last time Christmas fell on a Monday.
