This MP Boy Left Rs 16 LPA Corporate Job And Cracked UPSC On First Attempt – News18

After his 12th grade, he decided to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and cleared the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams. Then, he got admission to IIT BHU.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds CSE every year. It is considered one of the most competitive examinations in the country. Every year, lakhs of students appear for the exam after preparing for several years in order to become IFS, IRS, IPS, and IES officers. Typically, passing the examination requires years of preparation. But only a few of them are able to clear them in one go. Today, let’s take a look at the story of a young boy who left a high-paying corporate job to pursue UPSC and became an Indian Engineering Services (IES) officer.

The name of the IES officer is Saransh Gupta. He was born in a small city called Shivpuri, in Madhya Pradesh. Saransh’s father, Sanjeev Gupta, has been working as a panchayat secretary, whereas his mother is a housewife. Apart from that, he also has a brother and sister, and they both have been working in a bank for many years.

Saransh completed his school education in the same area. He once revealed that he had always received a good environment to pursue his studies. His family has always been quite supportive of his career choices.

Saranash had always been a bright student. So, after his 12th grade, he decided to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and cleared the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams. Then, he got admission to IIT BHU and completed his civil engineering degree there. Due to his ability and good grades, he started getting job offers during his studies.

According to reports, he was even offered a job with a package of Rs 16 lakh. But he was not satisfied with the job. He wanted to do more in his life and started pursuing the UPSC. As per reports, he decided not to choose the high-paying job and rather kept his focus on UPSC IES.

Saransh cracked UPSC on his first attempt. In an interview, he revealed that this is his favourite job. He added that he has received appointment letters from many companies, but for him, there is no better option than serving the country.
