UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: Candidates who applied for the main exam can download the admit card on the official website at upsc.gov.in, once issued

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the admit card for the Indian Forest Service Examination or UPSC IFS main exam 2023 today, November 17. Candidates who applied for the main exam can download the admit card on the official website at upsc.gov.in, once issued.

The exam will commence on Sunday, November 26, and will continue till December 3. The examination will be held in two shifts — the first shift will be conducted from 9 am to noon and the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The UPSC IFS main exam 2023 will be held in Bhopal, Delhi, Chennai, Dispur in Guwahati, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Port Blair, Nagpur, and Shimla.

UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: How to Download Admit Card

Step 1 – Candidates will have to go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission, upsc.gov.in.

Step 2 – The link to the UPSC IFS Mains Admit Card will be activated on the home page.

Step 3 – Candidates will have to submit the required details asked there.

Step 4 – The admit card will be displayed on your screen. Download it.

Step 5 – You can take a print out of the UPSC IFS Mains Exam Admit Card for future reference.

UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: Guidelines

Along with the printout of the admit cards, the candidates must also carry a photo ID. “The candidates are also required to carry along the Photo ID card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, in each Session,” reads the official notice by UPSC.

Candidates must further note that the entry to the exam hall will be closed 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination (each session). Candidates are also advised to bring a black ballpoint pen for making entries in the attendance list. Possession or use of mobile phones and other electronic devices or violation of any instruction will entail disciplinary action which may include cancellation of candidature of the candidate, filing of FIR/police complaint against the candidate, prohibition from appearing in subsequent session/day of the examination, the commission has notified.
