Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton wanted the royal family to “fight back” against untrue allegations from Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, a royal expert has claimed.
It has been revealed the the Princess of Wales was the one to insist the royal family had to “fight back” against untrue allegations from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in their Oprah Winfrey interview, GB News host Dan Wootton has claimed.
Praising Kate for her stance, Wootton said: “This is absolutely fascinating stuff because for a long time Kate has been viewed as a quiet force behind the scenes within the royal family.”
The expert added that “someone who is, by her own proclamation, very happy to let her hubby Prince William take the lead.”
“Behind the scenes that is certainly not the case. She was right to do so,” Wootton has told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
