Hanumankind will become only the second Indian artist to perform at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival after Diljit Dosanjh

Malayali rapper Hanumankind, who shot to international fame this year with his viral hit Big Dawgs, is set to achieve another major milestone. He will become only the second Indian artist to perform at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, following Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh, who made history in 2024 as the first Indian performer on the iconic stage.
The 2025 edition of Coachella will take place at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California, across two weekends: April 11–13 and April 18–20. This year’s lineup promises an eclectic mix of global superstars and rising talents. Headliners include Travis Scott, unveiling a new musical chapter after the success of his Utopia album, Lady Gaga, making a triumphant return since her 2017 performance, and Green Day, debuting at the festival.
Other notable performers include Megan Thee Stallion, Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Lisa, Jennie, Zedd, GloRilla, Ben Böhmer, and The Original Misfits. Rising star Tyla, who canceled her 2024 performance, will make her debut, while Post Malone, who teased his appearance earlier this year, is set to wow audiences.
Tickets go on sale Friday, November 22, with general admission starting at $599. VIP packages, camping options, preferred parking, and shuttle passes will also be available. Attendees can opt for a 50/50 payment plan, with the balance due by February 15, 2025.
For Indian fans, Diljit Dosanjh’s groundbreaking performance at the 2024 festival was a defining moment, introducing Punjabi music to Coachella’s global audience. Last year’s edition also featured headliners Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and Tyler, the Creator, alongside a special reunion of No Doubt. Even Taylor Swift, while not performing, captured attention as a spectator.
This year, Hanumankind is poised to carry the torch, bringing Indian hip-hop to the global stage and solidifying his place as a trailblazer in the music industry. With its stellar lineup and rich cultural diversity, Coachella 2025 is set to deliver yet another unforgettable experience.
