Kate spotted visiting farm shop with William as friends say she may address health

The Princess of Wales was reportedly seen for the first time in public following months of speculation after she underwent surgery.

Kate was seen alongside William in one of their favourite Windsor farm shops around a mile away from their Adelaide Cottage abode.

.A witness who saw the couple told The Sun last night: “After all the rumours that had been going round I was stunned to see them there. Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well.

“The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”

With the memory of their mother still casting a long shadow, both Harry and William are determined to do things their own way.

Ukraine’s British embassy made an official statement yesterday to confirm King Charles is still alive after Russian media said he had died.

Multiple Russian news and social media sites reported the 75-year-old monarch had passed away due to cancer complications and cited unnamed media sources.

A fake statement claiming to have come from Buckingham Palace also circulated online.

The British Embassy in Kyiv debunked the false claim made by Russian news outlets.

They posted on social media: “We would like to inform you that the news about the death of King Charles III is fake.”

King Charles being diagnosed with cancer following a routine prostate procedure was followed by the altogether more alarming news that Kate Middleton was to remain in hospital for 14 days following surgery on her abdomen.

Social media sleuths were given further cause for concern when Kensington Palace released a family picture on Mother’s Day which was later found out to have been doctored, triggering a further sense of mistrust within the court of public opinion.

Charles, meanwhile, has taken a step back from the majority of his public duties as he undergoes treatment for an unspecified form of cancer, and Prince William has stepped in to carry out his public-facing responsibilities while also remaining near Kate and their three children.

Meghan Markle has surprised fans and onlookers this week by launching a new lifestyle brand, complete with a social media page and a website.

As of yet, the brand’s Instagram presence consists of nine grid posts that assemble the brand’s title, seemingly embroidered with gold-beige thread onto a cream cloth.

The website is similarly elusive – so far, the homepage only shows the same logo image with a prompt for interested fans to sign up to the waiting list for further updates.

TMZ, the USA’s behemoth showbiz site, insisted the palace has “got caught in a lie … confidence is shot”. Time magazine ran a similar editorial: “The royal family has a trust problem.” Both have a point, but Kensington Palace doesn’t see it like that. And nor do Britain’s supposedly attack-dog tabloids.

The same day America demanded accountability, The Sun newspaper urged its readers to “Lay off Kate” and an unusually rueful Daily Mail mused “How did Kate’s photo become a PR disaster?”

When British tabloid newspapers, famed for their rude combination of patriotic genuflecting and brutal royal shaming, err on the side of caution, you know there’s a problem. One that runs much deeper than a doctored family photograph.
