To ensure a clean and well-organised mega-religious celebration, the Mela administration is putting out around 10,000 cleaning personnel. Additionally, 1.5 lakh toilets and urinals and 25,000 dustbins with liner bags will be put around the Mela grounds. Furthermore, the authority will also be deploying 300 sectional vehicles and jet spray cleaning systems at the festival to make it ‘Swachh Kumbh’.
For effective waste management, 120 tippers and 40 compactor vehicles will be employed. Transfer stations have been established in each sector and vehicles will be monitored using GPS to ensure timely and effective cleaning.
