Prince Harry is set to receive a significant portion of his inheritance from the Queen Mother later this year when he turns 40 on 15 September.

Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, who died in 2002 at the age of 101, reportedly left a sizable amount of her £70 million fortune to Harry as she knew he was unlikely to become king and wanted to ensure his financial security.

Royal author Christopher Andersen told Fox News: “Why 40? To a woman who nearly lived to be 102, one can only imagine that 40 seemed like the perfect age to come into some extra cash – when you’re young enough to appreciate it but also old enough, and hopefully wise enough, not to blow it.”

According to the Mirror, Harry will receive around £6.61 million.

Taking to Twitter/X, the royal couple wrote: “Huge congratulations to the Equestrian Eventing Team and Tom Pidcock in the mountain biking on winning @TeamGB’s first gold medals!

“Here’s to more success ahead!”

Meghan Markle told Prince William to “get your finger out of my face” during an argument about her treatment of the Princess of Wales.

The row erupted after Harry and Meghan returned from their honeymoon when the princess confronted the new Duchess of Sussex for saying she had “baby brain”, royal author Rob Jobson claimed in his new biography.

He wrote: “Catherine, according to Harry’s memoir Spare, confronted Meghan about the ‘baby brain’ comment and said, ‘You talked about my hormones. We are not close enough for you to talk about my hormones.’

“Meghan was surprised, according to Harry, and said it was the way she spoke to her girlfriends.

“William stepped in and apparently pointed at Meghan and called her ‘rude’.

“Meghan stood up to him and said, ‘Take your finger out of my face.’”

The “baby brain” comment was reportedly made by Meghan after Kate forgot a detail about her wedding while pregnant with Prince Louis.

The royal, 35, was praised for being “a beacon of sartorial elegance” by “pairing vintage-inspired cuts with fresh-from-the-catwalk glamour”.

King Charles made Prince William sign a waiver accepting the consequences of flying his family by helicopter, a royal insider has claimed.

The monarch and the late Queen Elizabeth expressed concerns about William’s insistence to continue to fly his family together, despite them being direct heirs to the throne.

Royal author Rob Jobson wrote in his upcoming biography of the Princess of Wales: “After being diagnosed with cancer, King Charles – perhaps reminded of his own mortality – echoed his late mother’s concerns.

“And when William refused to stop flying with his family, Charles insisted that he sign a formal document, acknowledging the risks involved and taking full responsibility for his actions.

“It would be scant consolation, of course, for an unspeakable tragedy, let alone for the prospect of King Harry and Queen Meghan…”

This took place on Christmas Day 2022 and again in 2023 when the Duke of York joined the royal family for their traditional walk to church at Sandringham.

Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were also welcomed by the family at Easter.

Royal author Rob Jobson speculated: “Perhaps the King is subliminally trying to show William that forgiving one’s brother and giving him a second chance is a strength, not a weakness.”

Andrew stepped down as a working royal in 2019 following his association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

This comes amid a year that has put the king’s vision for a slimmed-down monarchy to the test amid the family’s ongoing health concerns.

The Royal Household split its new values into five key aims – “Act with Care”; “Make an Impact”; “Succeed Together”; “Stay Curious”; and “Lead by Example”.

It said in its annual report: “The new reign has given the royal household the opportunity to define a new expression of purpose underpinned by a refreshed set of values.”

Prince Harry said his wife Meghan Markle receives “too much attention” in the UK and that is why he will not bring her back to the country.

After stepping down as working royals in 2020, Meghan and Harry lost the right to taxpayer-funded security.

He said of the tabloid press: “All it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read. Whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is, these are things that are of genuine concern for me.

“It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.”

Meghan last appeared in public in the UK at the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022.

Queen Camilla’s sister has opened up about the queen consort’s relationship with Prince William and said this year has brought them closer than ever.

Annabel Elliot, 75, born Shand like her sister, explained that Camilla, 77, has never tried to be a mother to the heir to the throne.

“Camilla has been in William’s life for far more years than he was with his mother. Camilla never made an attempt to be a mother to William or Harry, but Charles made it clear to everyone who mattered that his relationship with Camilla was non-negotiable.”

“Carole Middleton acted swiftly, taking her heartbroken daughter for a break in Dublin – a welcome respite from media scrutiny,” Jobson wrote.

“William, of course, simply got drunk at Mahiki and started yelling about being ‘free’.

“On Catherine’s return, she decided she wasn’t going to sit around moping; what was good for the goose was good for the gander.”
