No matter how much time passes by, there are certain memories that are etched forever. For actor-turned-host Reema Khan, these recollections are tied with the 2006 Zee Cine Awards, where she shared the stage with Humayun Saeed and none other than Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta.
Taking to Instagram, Reema reminisced about the old times by sharing a few pictures from the backstage of the award show where the actor can be seen practising her dance moves with her stage partners. She also added a heartfelt caption along the post, applauding her associates.
“A wonderful memory of Zee Cine Awards 2006 with Preity Zinta and Shah Rukh Khan, who is a matchless, distinguished and shining star of the filmdom. Even now, his career has reached a sky-high pinnacle,” penned the Bulandi actor.
She then proceeded to wish Shah Rukh all the best for his upcoming action-thriller film. “I wish him good luck with his new upcoming venture Pathaan!”
After Reema’s post went viral, many Pakistani celebrities rushed to the comment section with praises for the veteran.”Our superstar Reema Khan is no less than any international celebrity. You are our pride and our biggest star. Keep shining,” remarked Imran Abbas.
Ayeza Khan also lauded Reema’s beauty. She wrote, “My beautiful Reema,” adding a heart emoji.
Back in 2020, the footage of the dance performances at the Zee Cine Awards also made rounds on the internet. In the clips, Reema, clad in purple attire, grooves with Preity to the music of the well-acclaimed film Kal Ho Naa Ho. Then, Humayun and the Dilwale star join the stage and exchange a warm embrace before dancing with the women.
