World Cup: Pakistan suffer a setback ahead of Australia clash – SUCH TV



Pakistan’s left-handed opening batter Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the ICC World Cup 2023 clash against Australia on October 20 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Fakhar Zaman is suffering from a knee injury and the team doctor advised him to rest for one week.

Meanwhile, Salman Ali Agha, who was suffering from a fever is making a good recovery.

Other team members are fit and available for selection for tomorrow’s anticipated match against Australia.

Pakistan, currently sitting fourth in the ICC World Cup 2023 standings with four points in three matches, while, Australia are in position seven after winning their solitary game against Sri Lanka.

The green shirts will be eyeing to bounce back from their seven-wicket thrashing against India on Saturday.
