    NEW DELHI: Around 30 out of 40 applicants are expected to qualify for Rs 17,000-crore production linked incentive scheme for IT hardware, according to a government official.
    As many as 40 companies, including Dell, HP, and Lenovo, have applied for the IT hardware PLI (production linked incentive) scheme with a commitment to make personal computers, laptops, tablets, servers and other equipment worth Rs 4.65 lakh crore during the scheme period.
    “Around 30-32 company may qualify for the (IT hardware PLI) scheme. Some are looking ineligible for the scheme due to financial issues and organisation structure issues,” the official, who did not wish to be named, said.
    Against the budgetary allocation of Rs 17,000 crore for the scheme, applicants have projected the incentives to the tune of Rs 22,890 crore.
    The official said that the selected companies will get incentives well within the fund allocated for the scheme.
    Major IT hardware companies like Dell and HP are participating directly in the programme, while other significant players such as HPE, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, and Thomson are taking part through Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) companies with manufacturing facilities in India, such as Flextronics and Rising Star.
    Apple’s supplier Foxconn has also submitted an application for incentives through one of its subsidiaries. Among the domestic firms applying for the scheme are Padget (Dixon), VVDN, Netweb, Syrma, Optiemus, Sahasra, Neolync, Panache, Sojo (Lava), and Kaynes Technologies.
    The scheme is expected to generate direct employment for 75,000 professionals in electronic manufacturing and draw an incremental investment of Rs 5,000 crore.
    According to the official, the list of eligible companies is likely to be released by September end or in early October.
    When asked about the status of restriction on import of IT hardware, the official said that norms will be effective from November 1 and imports will be allowed through authorisation.
    The official said that in the first year almost everyone will be allowed to continue their import business as usual and reduction in the import quota will start after September 2024.
    In the meantime all the companies have been asked to submit their import data of the last three years and the destination from where they import the devices.
    “Our intent is to get devices only from trusted sources,” the official said.

    Ahead of the SSC MTS examination schedule for September 8, the Staff Selection Commission has released a notification especially for candidates with Delhi as there exam venue.     Applicants are also suggested to follow a detailed traffic advisory including suggested road routes, suggested

    The development comes in the when India is going to host G 20 Summit in the National Capital. Hence, vehicular movements in the capital and adjoining areas are restricted  in view of G20 Summit. The Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, And Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) SSC MTS Tier 1 Exam is now taking place. The exam is given at numerous testing locations across the nation from September 1 to September 14, 2023.

    Meanwhile, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the results of SSC MTS 2023. Candidates who have appeared for the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Havildar 2023 exam can check their result and cut off list by visiting the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in. The result can be able to checked using login credentials such as roll number and name.

    A total of 3015 candidates have been shortlisted for PET/PST in the recruitment exam. The computer-based SSC MTS 2023 exam was conducted in two phases from May 2 to 19 and from June 13 to 20. According to the released official notice, the computer-based examination was conducted in several phases. Candidates have been shortlisted for PET/PST on the basis of normalised scores for the post of Havildar (CBIC & CBN). SSC has shortlisted a total of 3015 candidates for PET/PST for Havildar posts. The notification for PET/PST will be issued by the commission soon.

    The SSC MTS exam was given in 13 regional languages, in addition to English and Hindi. There are a total of 12,523 vacancies to be filled for SSC Multi-Tasking Staff and Havildar positions.

    A total of 22 UG programmes under CUET UG 2023 are being offered for admission by BHU at the admissions portal, bhuonline.in. BHU UG admissions end today

    Banaras Hindu University (BHU) commenced the registration process for undergraduate students. According to the recent notification, candidates who did not select BHU in their CUET UG applications can now register for UG programs through the official website. The deadline for submitting admission applications is today, July 23. The BHU UG applications are currently available on the admissions portal, bhuonline.in.

    BHU has released the information bulletin for undergraduate courses and a few special subjects. Applicants can now submit their BHU applications for various 1-year, 2-year PG Diploma, Diploma & Certificate courses included under special courses.

    A total of 22 UG programmes under CUET UG 2023 are being offered for admission by BHU. When applying for admission, prospective students are required to have a scanned copy of their passport-size photograph, signature, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, birth certificate, and other essential paperwork handy.

    The fee structure and entrance criteria for each programme are detailed in the published BHU admission prospectus. The university will release the BHU merit list for UG admission 2023 in accordance with the courses applied for, the grades obtained by applicants, and seat availability. Candidates who make it to the shortlist must report to the institution within the time frame given with the necessary paperwork.

    In the state’s Mahatma Gandhi government schools, there are a total of 9,172 open positions, including 7,140 level 1 assistant teaching positions and 1,286 level 2 positions for English and Mathematics in Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) and non-TSP regions

    The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) began accepting registrations for the contractual hiring of 9,172 assistant teachers level 1 and level 2 for the disciplines of English and mathematics on January 31. The official websites- recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in or sso.rajasthan.gov.in are where qualified applicants may submit their applications.

    NEET MDS 2023 Application Begins, Exam to Be Held On March 1

    The NEET- MDS examination will be conducted on March 1 between 9: 00 AM and 12:00 PM and results will be declared on March 31

    The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET- MDS) on March 1. NBEMS in its recent notification apprised candidates as they welcome applications for the computer-based entrance examination. Aspirants can fill out the application form present on the portal at nbe.edu.in, till 11:55 PM on January 30.

    The NEET- MDS examination will be conducted on March 1 between 9 AM and noon and results will be declared on March 31. The admit cards for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery will be issued on February 22.

    Candidates can update or modify the submitted form between February 2 to 5. Anything filled in the form can be edited except name, nationality, email, mobile number and test city. In case applicants have to edit distorted images uploaded on the form, the final window period for rectification is between February 10 to February 15.

    NEET MDS 2023: Eligibility Criteria

    Applicants must have a degree of bachelor in dental surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the state dental council and must have a rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.

    NEET MDS 2023: Exam Pattern

    The NEET- MDS examination will consist of standard BDS courses as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time. The pattern of the examination consists of 240 multiple-choice questions to be attempted in three hours. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions while 25 per cent negative marking for incorrect answers.
