MOTODO

Inspired by the Mediterranean influence of Southern Italy, MOTODO’s new winter specials transform seasonal produce into bold and sophisticated delicacies. Non-vegetarians can taste the Grilled Prawn with Tomato, Mint & Braised Fennel, Polenta Crusted Fish with Tomato Caper Salsa and Spaghetti Cacio Pepe with Crispy Parma Ham, among others. Among the vegetarian dishes we tried, we highly recommend the Green Peas and Pecorino Arancini, Grilled Brie with Medley of Mushrooms and the Veneto Pizza with caramelised onions, chilli flakes and cherry tomatoes. The arancini was perfectly crisp and the filling melted in our mouth. The medley of mushrooms left us with a renewed appreciation for this versatile ingredient. For dessert, we loved the delicate sweetness of the Strawberry Millefoglie with White Chocolate.

To ring in the Chinese Year of the Dragon, Hakkasan has collaborated with celebrated fashion designer Kunal Rawal to curate an exciting menu and captivating ambience. As you take in the visually stunning touches to the decor (inspired by the dragon motif), sip on some exquisite drinks such as Lucky Dragon, Red Dragon, Yang Martini and Lunar Old Fashioned. The Kowloon cooler (a mocktail) is not to be missed either. From the food menu, we especially recommend the Black Truffle Mushroom Dumpling, Smoked Chicken, and Edamame and Bean Fried Rice. The chicken appetiser comes with wonderfully soft Mantao buns that present the perfect contrast to the crispiness of the fried treat. We also loved the subtle and wholesome aromas of the fried rice. Don’t leave without trying the dessert: The Auspicious Dragon. In keeping with the theme, this sweet indulgence has a fiery touch – spice has been added to certain elements.
