DU Admissions 2023: Last Date to Register for Final Special Spot Round Today, Merit List Tomorrow – News18

DU Admissions 2023: The final special spot allocation results will be declared tomorrow, September 27 at 5 pm

The University of Delhi (DU) has released the number of vacant seats across its colleges in the final special spot round list. The last date to apply for the final special spot round admissions via CSAS is today, September 26 by 11:59 PM. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website admission.uod.ac.in.

Candidates who applied for DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2023 but have not been admitted to any of the colleges may apply for this round. Students must note that they are allowed to choose as many programmes and colleges as they desire, as per the official notice.

The final special spot allocation results will be declared tomorrow, September 27 at 5 pm. Candidates can accept allotted seats soon after the results are released up till 5 pm on September 28. Colleges will be allowed to verify the documents and approve the admissions between September 27 and 29, up to 5 pm. Candidates must note that the deadline to pay the admission fees is September 30, up to 5 pm.

In the final special round, allocation of seats will be done through the availability of seats, programme-specific merit, order of preference of colleges (colleges and programmes), and category of the candidates. Following the release of the merit list, candidates must accept their seats otherwise DU will forfeit the student’s eligibility for further admission to the varsity.

DU Admissions special spot round 2023 via CSAS: How to apply

Step 1 – Go to admission.uod.ac.in

Step 2 – Click on the DU CSAS 2023 admission link

Step 3 – Log in using the required credentials. Fill in the choice of colleges, seats

Step 4 – Save

Step 5 – Pay fees

Step 6 – Submit. Save and download the form for further use.

Meanwhile, DU has launched three postgraduate programmes. This includes MA in Hindu Studies, MA in Chinese Studies, and the PG Diploma in Cyber Security and Law. Candidates can apply for these programmes until September 30.
