The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently informed that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 will be conducted in two sessions. As per NTA’s 2024 calendar, the JEE Main exam will be administered twice — once in January/February and then again in April. Candidates who want to appear for the exam can probably start applying in December, this year. Soon after the JEE Main 2024 window opens, candidates can apply for it by visiting the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

There are two papers in JEE Main 2024: paper 1 and paper 2. JEE Main paper 2 is held for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses, whereas JEE Main paper 1 is held for entrance to BE and BTech programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other institutions or universities.

-Category certificate (If candidate belongs to any reserved category).

-Net banking details for payment of registration fees.

-Identity proof like an Aadhaar card, bank passbook photo, or ration card.

– Person with Disabilities (PWD) certificate, if applicable.

The photo should be in black and white or colour and 80 per cent of the face, including the ears, should be visible in the image. Candidates must take the photo with the backdrop being white, as per NTA rules. The photograph as well as the signature should be in JPG/JPEG format only.
