Kuwait announces to print 100,000 Qurans in Swedish language – SUCH TV

Kuwait has announced its plan to publish 100,000 copies of the Quran with translation in the Swedish language. The plan was initiated by Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who ordered the concerned authority to carry out the publication.

According to international media reports, the plan was inspired by the aim of spreading the Islamic message of peace and harmony with the Swedish people and other communities. The Kuwaiti Prime Minister said that he wanted to share Islamic tolerance and values and mutual coexistence among all people.

The plan came in response to a blasphemous incident in Sweden, where an Iraqi citizen desecrated copies of the Quran on June 28, on the first day of Eid al-Adha. The incident caused severe grief and anger among Muslims around the world.

The publication of the Quran in the Swedish language is expected to be completed soon. The copies will be distributed to mosques, libraries, schools, and other institutions in Sweden. The translation of the Quran into Swedish language was done by Knut Bernström, a famous Swedish translator. The translation is also available online and as an app for iPhone and iPad users.

The Kuwaiti Prime Minister hoped that the initiative will help foster understanding and respect among different faiths and cultures. He also said that Kuwait will continue to support Islamic causes and projects around the world.
